Celebrate National Men Make Dinner Night! Lance Hanson of the University of Idaho’s extension office will give a demonstration on everyone’s new favorite kitchen gadget, the Instant Pot. Get ideas on how to make yours even more fun!
The demo will be available on our website and YouTube channel starting from Thursday November 5 at noon.
This month we will be reading Flora and Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo. We will meet via Zoom.
For girls ages 8-11 and accompanying adult. It’s a party about a book! Play games, make a cool craft, and eat a tasty snack.
The library will be closed Wednesday November 11 for Veteran’s Day. No items will be due.
This week in Book Babies, we had fun with bedtime routines and night animals. Talking about your day’s routine is a great way to expand Baby’s vocabulary.

Don’t shy away from informational or non-fiction books when sharing a story with your child. Children love to find out about the world around them and how things work. Even if you don’t read all the words, point out the illustrations and talk about them with your child.
Using an informational book about animals, sing, “There’s Something in the Nighttime,” with your child and have them fill in the noises. Then talk about where the animals live, what they eat, and when they sleep.
