This month for Adult Makers we’re making wire rings! The wire ring Take n’ Go kits will be available starting Monday, January 11th. The general kits will not include needle nose pliers, but if you need a pair you may ask for one to be checked out to you.
Each winter we host a month long community reading event we call On the Same Page. Basically, we hand out hundreds of copies of a selected book and then spend a month exploring it through activities, lectures, concerts, and contests. Think of it as a county-wide book club. Read with your neighbors and friends, talk about what you read, and come and join in the fun.
Our Kick-Off Kits will be available starting Friday, January 29th, so make sure to come pick them up!
This month we will be reading Half Magic by Edward Eager. We will meet via Zoom at 6:30 on Thursday January 7th.
Meanwhile, we’re building a collaborative half snow castle and other half snow structures in honor of the book! Come to the field by the library and add to it!
