Kid ‘n’ Tween Tuesday STEAM

Get ready for three exciting Tuesdays of hands-on STEAM fun! We’ll defy gravity with paper plate roller coasters, build DIY speakers with special guest Cheryl Kimber from Idaho PTV & PBS Kids to explore the science of sound, and tackle a LEGO Thanksgiving & Fall Challenge to celebrate the season.

Join us in the Community Room on November 4, 18, and 25 from 4:00-5:00 PM for creativity, experiments, and fun! Perfect for kids and tweens ages 6-11 who love to build, create, and discover.

Combined Great Reads for Girls & Books for Boys

Our Books for Boys and Great Reads for Girls clubs are joining forces this month to discuss A Rover’s Story by Jasmine Warga! This heartwarming tale follows Resilience, a Mars rover built by NASA, on an epic journey from Earth to the Red Planet—a story of friendship, purpose, and the adventure of a lifetime told from a truly unique perspective.

We’ll gather on Thursday, November 13 at 6:30-7:30 PM in the Community Room for discussion, space-themed activities, and delicious treats! Perfect for readers ages 8-11 and accompanying adults.

See you there, space explorers!

Join us on Friday, November 14 at 3:30 PM in the Community Room for a big-screen showing of The Bad Guys 2 (PG)! Our favorite reformed criminal crew is back for more action-packed adventures as they navigate new challenges and prove that even bad guys can become heroes.

All ages welcome! Parents should prescreen the film for their little cinephiles, and kids under 12 must be accompanied by someone 14 or older.
