Tuesdays, Sept. 2, 16, & 30 at 5:30 PM in the Community Room

Calling all adventurers! Whether you’re a battle-hardened bard or brand-new to the game, join our Dungeons & Dragons adventures for adults (18+) and step into a world of imagination, strategy, and camaraderie. Led by an experienced Dungeon Master, each session promises epic quests, clever puzzles, and unforgettable moments.

No experience? No problem! We’ve got pre-made characters and guidance to help you dive right in. Come solo or with friends—just be ready to roll for initiative and shape your own legend.

Calling all storytellers! Whether you’re eager to share your latest piece or just want to connect with fellow writers, this club is for you. We’ll read our favorite works, explore what drives our passion for writing, and cheer each other on in a welcoming, creative space.

Join us for Crafty Corner, an informal meet-up for adults 18+ who love to create! Bring your knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, or whatever craft you enjoy, and spend an evening with fellow makers.

This month we’ll meet Thursday, Sept. 4 at 6:30 PM. Relax, connect, and get inspired—let’s get crafty!

Puzzlepalooza!

Puzzlepalooza is coming! Join us on Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 PM in the Community Room for a three-tiered puzzle fest for all ages!

1️⃣ Team up on a giant group puzzle 2️⃣ Compete to be the fastest puzzler (yes, there’s a prize—you can probably piece it together.) 3️⃣ Swap puzzles at our exchange table—bring one, take one!

Come for one, two, or all three. It’s puzzling fun for everyone!

Take a Break Book Club

Join us Thursday, September 25 at 6:30 PM in the Community Room as we dive into The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb.

Ready to get messy and creative? Join Adult Makers for tie-dyeing on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 PM. Bring your own item to dye or buy a t-shirt for $5 (limited supply). Ages 18+ welcome, meet in the Community Room.

Free Family Friendly Films

Looking for a fun movie afternoon on the big screen? Join us on Friday, Sept. 26, at 3:30 PM in the Community Room for a showing of How to Train Your Dragon (2025, PG)!

All ages are welcome, but children 12 and under must be accompanied by a responsible party aged 14 or older. Parents, please prescreen the film to ensure it’s right for your little movie fans!

Reading can inspire creativity and we are painting a masterpiece! Take an epic journey with us this year as we explore the world of art, from color and style to history and industry. Armchair artists will read books to create a portfolio of canvases that earn them opportunities to enter the final drawing for our grand prizes.
