Calling all storytellers! Whether you’re eager to share your latest piece or just want to connect with fellow writers, this club is for you. We’ll read our favorite works, explore what drives our passion for writing, and cheer each other on in a welcoming, creative space.
On the 5th we’ll be meeting in the Community Room, but the 19th will be held in the Activity Room.
Crafty Corner
Join us for Crafty Corner, an informal meet-up for adults 18+ who love to create! Bring your knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, or whatever craft you enjoy, and spend an evening with fellow makers.
This month we’ll meet Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 PM. Relax, connect, and get inspired—let’s get crafty!
Adult Makers
Friday, November 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Community Room
Get creative with a unique painting technique! This month we’ll be using cotton swabs to create beautiful floral artwork. No prior painting experience necessary—just bring your imagination and we’ll provide the supplies. Join us for a relaxing evening of art and creativity. Adults 18+ welcome!
Free Family Friendly Films
Join us on Friday, November 14 at 3:30 PM in the Community Room for a big-screen showing of The Bad Guys 2 (PG)! Our favorite reformed criminal crew is back for more action-packed adventures as they navigate new challenges and prove that even bad guys can become heroes.
All ages welcome! Parents should prescreen the film for their little cinephiles, and kids under 12 need to be accompanied by someone 14 or older.
Take a Break Book Club
Join us for an engaging discussion of Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee on Thursday, November 20 at 6:30 PM. This novel follows Jean Louise Finch as she returns to her hometown of Maycomb, Alabama from New York City to visit her aging father, where she grapples with personal and political conflicts that challenge her understanding of her family and community. The book explores themes of identity, moral complexity, and changing perspectives in the American South. Adults 18+ are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Armchair Traveler Challenge
Reading can inspire creativity and we are painting a masterpiece! Take an epic journey with us this year as we explore the world of art, from color and style to history and industry. Armchair artists will read books to create a portfolio of canvases that earn them opportunities to enter the final drawing for our grand prizes. Any reader who joins us for even a portion of the trip will receive small prizes along the way. Sign up at the Library Circulation Desk!
