We’ll launch Alka-Seltzer rockets specialized to look like ghosts.
Baby Yoda craft – available starting October 15
We’ll craft a little Baby Yoda.
On Thursday, September 17 at 6:30 in the Community Room we will be discussing The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. This book is an international classic of betrayal and redemption set in a country that is in the process of being destroyed.
Book club reading copies are available from the circulation desk. We’ll be making kites during the discussion.
Our teen Take n’ Go crafts become available for pickup at the Youth Reference Desk starting Thursday September 17th. Teens will make yarn key chains and bracelets, and learn the basics of coding with a fun game.
This month’s lunch with the librarians will be Monday, September 14 at 12:30pm in the Community Room. Come bring your brown bag or takeout and swap book ideas with fellow lit lovers in this informal gathering. We hold this every second Monday of the month.
