Tip

Read nonfiction books with your child to spark her curiosity and introduce new vocabulary. Support her interests in topics like animals, space, or how things work to foster a love of learning. Many children are drawn to specific subjects, and nonfiction books can cater to these interests.

Activity

Create a “Curiosity Jar” by writing down your child’s questions on small pieces of paper and placing them in a jar. Once a week, draw a curiosity and explore the topic together through books, videos, or simple experiments. Help your child keep a log of your discoveries to encourage ongoing learning and engagement.
