Ratings and Reviews from the Librarians
Miranda rated it ★★★★ and said, “I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve read by Smith, but this is not my favorite. While there is nothing particularly wrong with it, it just didn’t have quite the same feel for me as her other works I’ve read. Dealing with difficult choices and growing up is hard, especially on the cusp of being considered a kid and becoming an adult. That being said, this is not a bad book, and was still a good read about relationships, both romantic and familial. It dealt with a lot of issues and decisions without being overbearing and lecturing about ‘right’ choices. I will definitely watch for more by Smith as I’ve really liked other novels, and I know there are those who will like this one better than the ones I pick as my favorites.”
