SPECIAL TRUSTEE BOARD MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 12:17 pm by Pam Beard in the absence of the board chair and vice-chair. Board members present were Pam Beard, Henry Benavidez, Jeniel Facer, Gordon Timothy, and Judy Dewey, secretary

New Library Furniture

The only order of business was to consider the bids for the furniture since there had been a question on them at Wednesday evening’s meeting. Three bids had been submitted but only two separated out the installation costs and the board wanted to make certain the other bid included installation. The architect had determined that all the furniture bids included installation. Judy also discussed the chairs for the children’s programming room with the architect. He said if we didn’t want the chairs as in the bid that we should approve the bid, excepting out the chairs, and then have the bidder find comparable chairs of the type we want and submit that information.

Jeniel moved to accept the low bid from InsideOut, with the exception of the chairs for the children’s programming room. Henry seconded the motion and all voted in favor.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:22 pm.
