TRUSTEE BOARD MEETING

Minutes

May 16, 2007

NOTE: Prior to the formal board meeting, a presentation was made regarding a possible collaboration of the Madison Library District with a group wanting to establish the “Library for Western Understanding.” The presentation and resulting discussion was held from approximately 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm.

The actual board meeting was called to order at 6:51 pm by Chairman Blaine Robertson. Board members present were Pam Beard, Blaine Robertson, Roger Jackson, and Judy Dewey, secretary.

The minutes of the last meeting were approved upon motion by Roger and a second by Pam. The bills were approved by acclamation, and the checks paying the bills were signed.

The hour being late, most of the business was deferred until the June meeting. Roger made the motion and Pam seconded it to have the library pay the director’s Medicare insurance premium; the motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 pm upon Roger’s motion.
